Accurate and relevant details should be recorded against these areas as organisation will determine the final output of several key system reports such as Annual Business Plan Report, Issue Summary Report etc.

A Business Plan focuses on the actions and tasks required to deliver the Service Plans and ultimately the direction of the organisation, set out in the Corporate Plan. It is:
A plan that integrates the strategic direction of the organisation and Service Plans with the operational requirements of Directorate and Business Unit/Region.
A process that involves the reviewing of the Business Unit’s environment and development of actions and tasks that provide management with the ability to manage resources.
An essential link between the strategic direction (high level planning) of the organisation and budget process, giving management a balanced approach (middle level planning) to the allocation of resources.
