This information will need to be set up very early in the implementation phase, as the information held underpins the strategic & corporate plans.
The Framework area pertinent to Planning, can be accessed by clicking on the Framework Tab in the Planning & Metrics Module. This allows for key aspects of Planning to be established. These are then used as a foundation in several areas of the Planning Process.
The ‘FRAMEWORK’ area sets up the database and allows you to:
Set up a Plan Reporting structure (Related Plans);
Produce a set of Priorities, which can be attached in the Strategic Plan (Priority Criteria);
Develop a ‘matrix’ approach to strategic management planning (Governance) and (Target Initiatives); and
Define a tree type hierarchy of groups which will provide more flexibility in the reporting of Actions in accordance with different categories and hierarchies. (Action Groupings);
