Risk Register

The Risk Register area allows users to view, search and filter all risk assessments so that you can view all risk details and progress in a quick and easy way.

Three separate registers are available for three types of risks; Strategic, Operational and Project. Hover over, "Risk Management menu in top navigation bar to access Risk registers.

The relevant risk register screen will display the risks along with their code, Responsible Officer, Directorate/Business Unit (Operational and project risks only), Service (Project risk only), Reporting Period, Next Review Date, Initial, Revised and Future Rating and the status.

You can also access Risk registers via the relevant tabs

Records can be grouped by any column by dragging and dropping the column header on to the designated line, or filtered using the drop down boxes.

 

Filter, Sort and Search Records

Use the funnel icon to expand search/ filter options available for each section.

You can sort records by Risk code, Risk Description and Responsible Person in any order you require. Simultaneously, you can specify the alphabetical order as A-Z or Z-A.

Specify the number of records you want to see in one page by selecting a number from "Number of risks per page" dropdown.

You can select to show only active or only inactive risks by ticking/unticking the 'active', 'inactive' tick boxes. All risks are displayed by default.

Search and Clear Filters buttons are available within filters area. Ticking “Save as Default” option will save the current search as default.4

Clicking on the risk will direct you to the relevant 'Initial Risk Assessment' screen.

 

Excel Export

You can export records in the Risk register using the Excel icon at the top right hand corner. To do so;

STEP 1: Click on the Excel icon on the right hand side of the screen.

STEP 2: Click ‘open’ to open the spreadsheet or ‘save’ to save the spreadsheet to your workstation.

Only the visible data in the relevant Risk Register tab is exported – if this does not meet your requirements or you require additional details in your export, please contact your system administrator as they will have access to an advanced export function via the Risk Settings area.

 

Add New Risk

If you are assigned the Risk Manager or Risk Administrator security, you would be able to create new risks by clicking the plus icon at the top right hand corner of the risk register. Clicking this would take you to the Risk Add screen.
