Job Satisfaction

The Job Satisfaction page provides functionality to ask questions from employees about their career at the organisation. Employees are required to fill out the Job Satisfaction Survey as a part of their Assessment.

It can be adjusted as required to assess different satisfaction criteria and commentary.

STEP 1: Go to Administration > Individual Planning Admin > Management > Job Satisfaction.

STEP 2: Enter the requisite information as described below to create a new Job satisfaction question and click the 'Add' icon.

Job Satisfaction Question

1)       –Comment Only– (default)

2)       Multiline Text

3)       Dropdown Selection

4)       Multiple Choice

5)       Scale

Configure Options

Clicking on the  button should open the configuration pop-up.

·         This button will only be visible after the first save of a record.

·         This will only be displayed when Answer type is selected to

o    Dropdown selection

o    Multiple choice

o    Scale or grid options are selected.

 

Mandatory

When ticked, indicates that the question is mandatory.

Active

When ticked, indicates that the question is active and is shown in the Job Satisfaction element within the assessment. If unticked, the question will be hidden.

Configure Option

When answer option is selected as Dropdown Selection, Multiple Choice, Scale or Grid Two views will be available according to the answer type selected.

If Answer type is selected as “Scale”,

Only the 1st and last label text will be displayed in the control.

If Selected “dropdown” or “multi select”, the user must ensure labels are entered for all options or the option will display empty. The system will NOT validate this.

Clicking on the Preview button will provide a preview of how the question would display in the assessment> job satisfaction tab.

Import Question

The Import option will give you the ability to import a previously created Dropdown Selection or a Multiple Choice answer type.

Selecting a question will auto-populate the grid with answer options configured for the respective question.

Administrator will be able to edit the answer options as required. See example below

When creating Question 4 which is a multiple choice answer type, Administrator will be presented with Question 1 and Question 2 as the import options.

Note- Importing answer options would only copy the options. No link is created between the two questions.

Below view will be available if the answer type is selected as Grid

This will allow users to add child questions.

Child Question

What is entered here will be displayed as rows in the grid when displayed in the assessment> Job satisfaction tab

The values entered in view 1 would be displayed as the columns of the grid in assessment> job satisfaction tab

Import list for grid would only show a list of questions with answer type selected as grid.\

Questions in Answer type comment only and multiline text can be changed to another type when editing.

Questions with Answer type Multiselect, scale or dropdown type can be changed among the same types.

Questions with Answer type grid cannot be changed to another type.
